The Best Travel destination in Bhutan
Bhutan being a mountainous country with an attractive patchwork of landscapes and mountains with a rich environment. It is a good place for travelling and hiking where every one should experience in their lifetime. There you will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature around you as well as the scenario of the places. Those places to travel in Bhutan are :
-Paro
-Wandue Phodrang
-Thimphu
In this script I will be describing each place why they are the foremost travel destination in Bhutan.
Many people were unaware of the good places to visit in Bhutan. One of the topmost places is Paro. It is a U-shaped valley along the river. It is a historic town with many historic sites and historical buildings scattered throughout the area. It is also home to Paro International Airport, Bhutan’s sole international airport.
Among many historic sites, Paro Taktsang is known as Tiger Nest and Taktsang Palphug Monastery. It is a sacred Vajrayana Himalayan Buddhist site located in the cliffside of upper Paro Valley in Bhutan. Roughly 15 km walk from Taktsang Base, though it's a tough uphill way, still then we enjoy the beauty of nature around us. There is a Horse Transportation service for all people, full preference is given to individuals. Everyone must visit Paro Taktsang.
On the other hand, the National Museum of Bhutan that is located in Paro which consists of ancient artefacts and sculptures and 3000 works of Bhutanese art of 1,500 years of Bhutan’s Cultural Heritage. There are some finest specimens of Bhutan Bronze Statues and Painting.
Below the museum there is a Dzong called Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) where we can find an ancient fortress in traditional Bhutanese Architecture with a complex of courtyards, temples, and administration offices.
Along the Pachu, 6 km towards the right side of Dzong, there is Paro International Airport. It is considered as one of the challenging airports in the world due to the geographical features of the deep valley. It will be a great experience in your life if you come to Paro.
Secondly, Wangue Phodrang is a good place for travelers and it is the largest district in Bhutan. Here the traveler gets the best scenario of Phobjikha Valley known as Marshland of Bhutan. Phobjikha Valley is rich in faunal biodiversity and even we can find graceful Black-necked Cranes from Tibetan Plateau during winter. During the visit of cranes in the Valley, we can witness the beautiful scenario of Black-Necked Cranes circling the Gangteng Monastery three times and they repeat while returning to Tibet.
Moreover, Rinchengang Village is located opposite to the Wangdue Phodrang along Punatshangchu. Visitors get the best views of its traditional stonework with the group of two or three storied buildings. Rinchengang village is worth a visit.
3.Thimphu
Thirdly, Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan located in western central part along Wangchhu. Quality places for travelers are Tashichho Dzong, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Dechen Phodrang Monastery, and Dochula pass.
Those places are the best of the best in Thimphu, where everyone should visit and enjoy the beauty of those monuments. Where we can find carving sculptures in Tashichho Dzong that represent the past of Bhutanese. Memorial Chorten is the tallest monument in Thimphu and Buddha Dordenma is the largest Buddha statue in the world located on top of mount in Kuensel Phodrang park. Here we can see the all beautiful formation of Thimphu town. Moreover, you must go to Dochula Pass with 108 stupa in the middle of the highway. It will be worth it if you travel inside Bhutan.
To capitulate, the passion of travelling around the world is the best way of exploring in your life. The more you Travel, the more you experience and explore what lies beyond our life. Bhutan is also one of the travel destination places, being a carbon negative country, its environment and rich in culture gives a pleasant feature for travelers to travel inside Bhutan. Places like Paro, Thimphu, and Wangdue Phodrang is finest places and worth visiting here.
